Invitation to Participate in the Geosciences & Climate Change Forum in Inhambane

The Geological and Mining Association of Mozambique (AGMM), in partnership with the National Institute for Disaster Management and Risk  Reduction (INGD), is honored to invite Your H. to participate in the First Geosciences and Climate Change Forum, to be held in the province of Inhambane, in Maxixe City, at UNISAVE, on July 24th and 25th, 2024.

The objective of this Forum is to provide a space for reflection and debate on the relevance of Geosciences in the Extractive Industry within the context of climate change and the importance of Energy Transition.

The Forum will reflect on the recent history of the mining and petroleum sectors in Mozambique, demonstrating their evolution based on geological sciences, and emphasizing economic growth anchored in the development and evolution of the Extractive Industry, while also highlighting environmental preservation.
