Mozambique’s Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy Announces FAGENA 2025

The Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy of Mozambique (MIREME) is pleased to invite all stakeholders, professionals, students, and partners in the extractive industry to participate in FAGENA 2025 — the Geology, Mining and Energy Fair.

The event will take place from October 23 to 25, 2025, starting at 08:30 AM, at the Hotel Milénio, in the City of Nampula. FAGENA 2025 aims to promote sustainable mining practices and foster Mozambique’s socio-economic growth through innovation, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships.

This year’s theme, “FAGENA, for sustainable mining and the promotion of Mozambique’s socio-economic development,” highlights the government’s commitment to responsible resource management and long-term national progress.

Throughout the three-day fair, participants will engage in a dynamic program featuring exhibitions, thematic panels, technical discussions, and networking sessions, gathering representatives from government institutions, private companies, academia, and civil society.

“FAGENA is a platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration towards a sustainable future for Mozambique’s extractive sector.”
